Welcome to the Navigation module. This module shows you how to use the Agents of Excellence online courses so you can move through them quickly and easily.

Use the FORWARD and BACK buttons shown here to work your way between pages. The progress bar between the buttons gives you a visual reference and a page reference to show where you are in the module.

Click the MENU button to display a list of available topics within a module. Simply click on a topic to view it.

Keep your eye out for scroll bars as some text, images, assets, and feedback may not fit the allocated screen size. Use the scroll bar to scroll up or down, as needed.

Some screens provide tips or additional information. To view the tips or information, click the ADVISOR button. Read the content, then click X to close the box and return to the main screen.

There are many different kinds of activities for you to interact with to complete the course. These are the types you will encounter:

• Matching
• Sequencing
• Puzzles
• Speaking Practice
• Multiple Choice
• Multi-Select
• True or False
• Multi-Path

Some activities begin with a scenario. Take note of the scenario and the instructions that appear as these may vary. To access the scenario activity, click the LAUNCH ACTIVITY button at the bottom left of the page.

Other activities begin with an INSTRUCTIONS box. Read the instructions, then click the LAUNCH ACTIVITY button at the bottom right of the box. The box closes and the activity is displayed.

A Matching activity asks you to depress and hold the left mouse button to select an item on the left hand side, drag it to its corresponding placement area on the right hand side, and drop it by releasing the left mouse button.

The option may be text or it may be audio. Use the PLAY, PAUSE and STOP controls to listen to the audio.

If you drag an item over an incorrect placement area, the item snaps back.

When you place it on the correct area, a green checkmark appears.

When you have correctly matched all items, a FEEDBACK window appears. Click the X button on the FEEDBACK window to return to the activity page.

If you need to view the instructions again, click the green and yellow i button located in the bottom right corner of the activity screen.

If you want to do the activity again, click RESET.

When you have completed the activity, click FORWARD to continue.

The Sequencing activity requires that you place all the items on a correct sequence number and click SUBMIT before receiving feedback. The items will not snap back if incorrectly placed. Once you’ve read the feedback you can click RETRY ACTIVITY.

The sequencing options may be in text or in audio. Use the PLAY, PAUSE and STOP controls to listen to the audio before dragging the option.

After clicking SUBMIT, a FEEDBACK box appears. Within the box you can click LISTEN TO SEQUENCE (if the options are audio) or SHOW ME (if the options are text) if you want to hear/see the correct order. You can also click RETRY ACTIVITY if you would like to try it again.

Click the X button in the FEEDBACK box to return to the activity page.

When you have completed the activity, click FORWARD to continue.

The Puzzle activity requires you to drag a puzzle piece and drop it onto a matching place to the right. Note that for each piece that you fit into place, a new piece of information appears in the INFORMATION box. To start over and read through the information again, click RESET.

When you complete assembling the puzzle, a FULL LIST button appears under the INFORMATION box. Click the button to print the information in the puzzle or ask your Kelly representative to provide you with a copy.

When you have completed the puzzle, click FORWARD to continue.

There is also an activity that allows you to practice speaking to a customer. A scenario is presented. Think about what you would say, then click LAUNCH ACTIVITY.

On the activity screen, you will see a box containing what the customer says to you to start the conversation.

• Click play audio to hear the customer’s voice. When the recording is finished, a PRESS RECORD box appears.
• Click the red button to begin recording and say your response as if you were truly speaking with a customer.
• Notice the speech monitor attached to the PRESS RECORD box. This monitor will pick up any fluctuations in the pace, pitch and tone of your voice. As well, if you speak too loudly, the image of the caller will move the phone away from their ear.
• When you click STOP, an Advisor box appears. Closing this box displays a LISTEN TO MY CALL and LISTEN TO PRO buttons.
• Click LISTEN TO MY CALL to hear yourself speaking.
• Click LISTEN TO A PRO to hear how an experienced customer service rep would sound.

Keep trying until you sound like the Pro. If you want to start again from the scenario screen, click REPLAY. If you want to simply review the scenario again, click the green and yellow i button.

When you have completed the activity, click FORWARD to continue.

For all Multiple Choice, Multi-Select, and True or False questions, simply click the correct answer(s) to receive either positive or negative feedback.

For all Multi-Select questions, be sure to click the SUBMIT button to register all of your selections and receive your feedback.

Some questions have a Replay link that appears in the feedback box after you have answered the question. Clicking this link will let you try again.

When you have completed the question, click FORWARD to continue.

The Multi-Path activities require you to make a series of decisions that lead you down a path. The activity begins with a scenario to set up the context for the questions. Multiple choice questions then run back-to-back as you progress through the path. The path may be appropriate or inappropriate, and it is possible to take a path where every option is incorrect.

You will only receive feedback once you reach the natural conclusion of a path. If you want to try the activity again, click Replay. Keep trying as many times as you like. If you want to review the scenario while you are in the activity, click the INFORMATION button.

Click the x next to the CLOSE button shown here in the top right corner of the interface at any time to close this module and return to the Main Menu.
